Goga Ashkenazi July Gift Library Picks Goga Ashkenazi says July is the month of holidays where everyone goes away somewhere hot and she plans on visiting some of her friends who are moving into a new place in LA and London so she firstly suggests some fantastic house warming gifts; the unique
Adam Aaranson Glass Ovid Vase and the
Celestina Higante Box. She then suggests some items to treat yourself with; the gorgeous
Alan Anderson Vintage Necklace and an original
Kate Moss photograph shot by Mike Figgis.
Gift Library’s May Gift Recommendations from Goga Ashkenazi
Each month
Goga Ashkenazi selects a few items from the Gift library collection. May is about being the month of glamour and her anticipation for the most glamorous awards ceremony; The Cannes Film Festival. She recommends extravagant gifts to impress your hosts, such as the
CUB-AR Sapie Black Caviar Dish and the
William Yeoward Crystal Decanter. Of course, Goga Ashkenazi’s month wouldn’t be complete without attending a party or two, so she picks out some fabulous jewellery, such as
Celestina Cuff, some
Noa Fine Jewellery and the
Pink Gold Diamond Love Knot Bracelet. Along with her business partner and friend, Caroline Stanbury, they will be making a trip to Hong Kong later this month in search of some exclusive and luxurious gifts.....
She is famously known for being a good friend of Prince
Andrews and for socialising in the most exclusive social circles, but there is
much more to Goga Ashkenazi. She is a successful entrepreneur and is currently
the Chairman of the Board of the MunaiGaz-Engineering Group. Born in Kazakhstan
and raised in Moscow, she moved to England where she obtained a degree in
Modern History and Economics from Oxford University. Today, she tries to
balance her busy life between business and pleasure, which includes running
gift-library.com with her good friend Caroline Stanbury. She currently lives in
her £28 million home in Holland Park which was mentioned in Hello Magazine:
I often buy Hello! Magazine for the gorgeous glossy images of
beautiful homes. This house belongs to the gorgeous Business Woman Goga
Ashkenazi. This has been in my image files for a while as it was featured in Hello! Magazine in May 2010. I love that each room has a
different mood and feel, created by the colours and textures of fabrics and
furnishings. The mix between modern and art deco has been done with real
elegance and panache. In the article Goga said:
"I
like simplicity with a twist. You should create your own trend, not follow the
crowd. I now embrace looking and sounding different rather than shying away
from it" Home Envy: Goga Ashkenazi
She recently said on Twitter,
that she will be starting up a charity organisation, but that’s all she has said
at the moment.....watch this space!
Goga Ashkenazi, all legs and lips, is striding down the stairs to say hello. Yesterday, she did a charity bike ride from London to Brighton, but she doesn’t seem to be suffering from any aftereffects. She is 30 and a billionairess, thanks to her oil and gas engineering company and entrepreneurial exploits in her native Kazakhstan. People list her intelligence (Oxford degree) and charm (good chums with Prince Andrew) as factors in her dizzying success, but I’m wondering if we have not missed the most basic: her remarkable stamina.
